Wendell Posey, age 78, of Oakman, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at his residence.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at Earnest Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Posey was preceded in death by his Mother-Mary Posey; Father-Corvella Posey; Grandparents-Mini and Rufus Posey; Brothers-Frank Arthur, Jimmy, Billy and Bobby; Sister-Brenda Guthrie.
He is survived by his Wife-Eva Jean Posey of Oakman; Daughters-Debra Wells, Darlene Pasley (Marty) and Pamela Polk all of Oakman; Sons-Wendell Elliott Posey (Rachel) of Jasper and Eric Posey (Crystal) of Oakman; Brothers-C.H. Posey of Carbon Hill and Floyd Posey of Michigan; 11 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.
