Truman Ray Steele, 83, peacefully passed away at his home on Wednesday, November 15, 2017. He was born on October 23, 1934 in Lawrence County to George and Cairo Jane Steele along with 7 other siblings.
Truman farmed for several years before meeting the Love of his life Barbara Ann Haynes. He then moved onto carpentry along with having six children, Kenneth (Ellen) Steele; Theresa Steele; Anita (Jimbo) Robinson; Donald (Kitty) Steele; Ronald Steele and Cindy (David) Wood. Then the family grew larger with 16 Grandchildren, 19 – Great-Grandchildren & 1 – Great-Great-Grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 19, 2017 in the Cullman Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Mt. Grove Cemetery, with Bro. Rodney Thompson officiating. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at the funeral home and end at 8:00 p.m.
