ImageWayne Vail, 92, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice in Tupelo. He was born April 3,1934 to the late Martin Lee Vail and the late Eva Lou Cowley Vail in Alabama. Wayne owned and operated Vail Electric for many years before he retired. He was a member of the Fairview Masonic Lodge #457 and a 32nd Degree Scottish Rights Mason and past Master of the North Chicago Lodge #1095. He was also a Shriner, Eastern Star, and was member of Trinity Baptist Church. Wayne loved being outdoors and going to work at his property on the waterway everyday while his health allowed him to do so.

Funeral services with masonic rights will be at 3:00 pm on Friday, April 10, 2026, at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Steven Kennedy, Bro. Roger Kennedy, and Bro. Mike Deaton officiating. Burial will be in Itawamba Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Friday April 10th at Senter Funeral Home.

Senter Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family.

He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Louise Vail of Fulton; daughter, Peggy Diane Vail and son, Timothy Wayne (Kimberly) Vail, both of Fulton;8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy Schlitz of Saltillo.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Vicki Lynn Johnson and his parents, Martin and Eva Lou Vail.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Fairview Masonic Lodge officers.
