Wayne Thomas Hudson, 82, passed away on April 5, 2022, at Huntsville Hospital Hospice Family Care. He was born in Greensboro, North Carolina and received his electrical engineering degree from North Carolina State University. He is survived by his companion of many years, Annie Saylor; two children, Kenneth Thomas Hudson (Kelly) and Jennifer Hudson Jain (Nishant); brother, Russell Hudson; two grandchildren, Alton Thomas Hudson and Vayu Jain; and ex-wife, Charlotte Hudson.

Wayne was employed as a DoD civilian engineer for 42 years, most of which was for the U.S. Army at Redstone Arsenal, where he supported RF missile testing. He was an avid shooter, winning many Alabama state championships in silhouette shooting for both pistol and rifle. He took great pride in his antique vehicles and was highly skilled at keeping them in repair.

The family is eternally grateful to the caregivers at HomeCare Assistance.

Visitation will be from 12 to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 9 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home, with the service immediately following in the chapel. Interment at Maple Hill Cemetery will follow the service.
