Shirley Ann Simpson Johnson, 84, of Huntsville passed away Sunday morning. Shirley was a proud Air Force wife to her husband of 63 years, Harold “Buddy” Johnson. Moving from state to state and three years in Edinburgh, Scotland, she often said that these were the happiest days of her life.
She is survived by her children, David and Laine Johnson, and Robin and Dave Lawson; and grandchildren, Thomas, Elysa, and Jenna.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, April 7 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 1:15 p.m. Friday, April 8 at Alabama National Cemetery, Montevallo, Alabama.
The family gives special thanks to Dr. Daniel Schreeder and Team at Clearview Cancer Institute, for all the love and kindness given to our mother.
