Wayne “Spook” Andrews – Obituary

Wayne “Spook” Andrews, 69, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Saturday, November 02, 2013, at his residence. He was an U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, serving at the rank of E-5. He was retired from TVA as an electrician after 30 years of service, and was a member of the Local IBWA #852 for many years. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a Shriner, belonging to Lodge #564 F&AM. He enjoyed gardening in his spare time. Visitation is scheduled for 12 Noon until 2 PM on Sunday, November 3 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM on Sunday, November 3, 2013 with Masonic and U.S. Military rites, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Ron Norvell. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers include Adrian Essary, Ken Park, Bobby Donald, Harold Donald, Herbert Doyle Booker, Morris Essary, and Chris Yarber. Howard and Catherine Daily and the members of the Local IBWA #852 will serve as honorary bearers. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by 2 brothers – Charles Andrews (Beatrice) of Houston, TX and Larry Andrews of Collierville, TN; 5 sisters – Dianna Essary (Adrian) of Corinth; Eleanor Donald (Harold) of Michie, TN; Bernice Latch (Billie) of Corinth; Mary Cooke of Michigan; and Jeanette Anderson (George) of Corinth; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert and Maurell Andrews; his brothers, Leon and James Andrews; and his sister, Billie Sue Felker.
