Warner Craig Pierce, 53, passed away Thursday, Feb. 25, 2016, at his home. He was born in Red Bay, Alabama and worked at Cooper Tire for 23 years. He was a member of Liberty Church of Christ, Dennis, Mississippi. He was a loving son, husband, and Grand Pops. He loved collecting Mississippi State and Dale Earnhardt memorabilia.
Services will be Sunday, Feb. 28, at 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, Mississippi, with David Conley and John Williams officiating. Burial will be in Joel Cemetery, Dennis, Mississippi. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, Mississippi, will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Pierce, Dennis, Mississippi; one son, Preston Pierce (Meagan), Mantachie, Mississippi; two stepdaughters, Allie Crawford (Micheal), Jacksonville, Florida, and Mary Norris, Booneville, Mississippi; four grandchildren, Aaron, Vada, Connor, and Braidlee; his parents, Benford and Dean Pierce, Belmont, Mississippi; and two brothers, Joey Pierce, Dennis, Mississippi, and Tim Pierce, Russellville, Alabama.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Elmer and Flonnie Ables and Arvie and Connie Pierce.
Pallbearers will be Timmy Milam, Benjamin Russell, Randy Dean, Lee Pounds, Steve Smith, and Ben Smith.
Visitation will be today, 5-8 p.m., at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, Mississippi..
