Wanda Renee Turner – Obituary

Wanda Renee Turner was born February 20, 1954 in McNairy County, TN the daughter of the late Otis Earl and Opal Virginia Taylor Clifton.

She was united in marriage to Guy Turner on October 10, 1969.

Mrs. Turner was proud of her family and crazy about her grandchildren. She was an avid collector of everything, the keeper of useless stuff and a borderline organized hoarder. She was loyal to the Eastview Dollar General store making daily trips, sometimes going multiple times in one day. She enjoyed the TV land channel, organizing old family photos, and taking care of her house. She had a great fondness for babies and animals, especially her faithful and loyal companion, Polly the chihuahua.

She loved the holidays, Christmas being her favorite. She was a member of the Unity Baptist Church in Ramer, Tennessee.

Mrs. Turner departed this life on October 19, 2017 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 63 Years, 7 Months, 29 Days. She is survived by her husband, Guy Turner of Ramer, TN; a daughter, Lana Renee Turner of Jackson, TN; two sons, Scott Hunter Turner and wife Britney of Selmer, TN, Mark Allan Turner and wife Michelle of Ramer, TN; six grandchildren, Hunter Allen and wife Shaina, Sarah Beth Lambert, Matthew Dylan Turner, Andrew Colton Turner, Bennett Hayes Turner, Katie Elizabeth Turner; three great grandchildren, Taylor Ridge Allen, Kinsley Grace Allen, Avalynn Michelle Turner; two sisters, Ann Clifton of Jeffersonville, IN, Alice Faye Borden and husband Paul of Selmer, TN; and a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Mrs Turner was preceded in death by a sister, Norma Ruth Yancey.
