Owen served his country in the United States Navy from 1973 to 1979. He was an engineer for Ershigs Incorporated. During his life, Owen was able to reside in many different places like Brunswick, Maine, Spain, Algeria and Guatemala.
He departed this life on October 18, 2017 in Pulaski, Tennessee at the age of 63 years, 7 months and 5 days.
Owen is survived by his children, Charles Patrick Carroll, Kenneth Brian Carroll and Leah Kathryn Carroll; four grandchildren, Owen Warner Carroll, Reagan Greer Carroll, Kate Susan Carroll and Mia Jane Carroll; his mother, Mary B. Carroll; one brother, Donald B. Carroll; and four sisters, Brenda Carroll Ables, Sherry Carroll Rollins, Lisa Carroll Tidwell and Melinda Carroll Madden.
In addition to his father and his wife, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charlie and Jennie Carroll and Allen and Notra Glover
