Funeral service for Wanda L. Vice, 78, will be Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Royce Teague officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in New Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 26, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home.
Ms. Vice passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at her residence. She was born June 6, 1947, in Morgan County to Carl Hughes Vice and Edna Lou Leeth Vice.
She was employed by Monsanto for 28 years and a line worker and Lead person and then was a caregiver for 22 years. She was a hard worker and had a caring soul.
She was preceded in death by three brothers- Walter, Charles, and Jimmy Vice, and one grandchild- Robert Bruce Mayfield as well as her parents.
Survivors include
Daughter – Renea Luke (Jeff Woods),
Son – Keith Turney (Tina),
Four Grandchildren- Dewayne Vice (Jayla), Jesse Luke, John Wesley Turner and Ashley Nicole Cobb.
Six Great Grandchildren- Layla Vice, Shelley Vice, Landon Vice, Phonex Vice, and Lelni Rose Cobb.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
