Wanda Jewel Stout, age 66, of Florence, died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014. The family will receive friends for visitation on today from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The graveside service will be at 11 a.m., at Oakwood Cemetery, Tuscumbia. Paul Swindle, Brad Counce, and Billy Counce Jr. will be conducting the services.
Ms. Stout was a native of Tuscumbia, and a member of Wood Avenue Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, T.S. and Velma Mitchell Stout, and grandparents, C.W. and Callie Mitchell.
Survivors include a sister, Joyce Counce (Bill); nephews, Billy Counce (Lisa) and Brad Counce (Em); five great-nephews; and one great-niece.
The family would like to gratefully acknowledge the care and support provided by the doctors and staff of Mitchell-Hollingsworth Nursing Home of Florence.
