Mary “Joyce” Beasley Young, 81, of Milton, Fla., passed away Feb. 4, 2014. She was a native of Florence, Ala. and survived by her children, Regina Nichols, Ricky Young (Jennifer), Sandi Davis (Tim), Terry Young (Melissa), and Robin Young (Jeanne); sister, Judy Giddy (Jack); ten grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, W.T. and Sarah Beasley; her brother, Thomas Gerald Beasley; and the father of her children, Bobby T. Young.
We would like to express our heart-felt love and appreciation to our sister, Sandi, who made sure that Mother’s needs were met throughout her life. Also, to Tim, our brother-in-law, whose caring ways, time, and devotion for our mother did not go unnoticed. She thought of him as her fourth son.
A special thanks to Covenant Hospice of Pensacola, Fla. for the exceptional care and for allowing our mother to die with diginity.
The memorial service will be at Greenview Funeral Home in Florence, Ala. on Feb. 15, 2014, at 3 p.m.
