Wanda Gail Mooney, 64 of Arab passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023, at Crestwood Medical Center. Wanda was born March 8, 1959 the daughter of Cleburn Leon Riggins and Maurice French Riggins. She was a 1977 graduate of Arab High School and was married to Anthony Mooney who passed away April 16, 2016. She loved her family dearly, especially her grandkids and loved spending time with her friends.
She is survived by her children: Adam Cobb (Brenda Strange), Dustin Cobb (Kristi) and Kristen Unger (Scott); seven grandchildren; brother: Jeff Riggins and a sister: Sonya Medlock (Steve); host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband: Anthony Mooney, parents: Leon and Maurice Riggins and a brother: Vandy Riggins.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 16, 2023, at Gober Funeral Chapel with Brother Greg Stone officiating. Burial will be in Arab Memorial Cemetery, Gober Funeral Chapel directing. Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Gober Funeral Chapel.
