Walter Wilson, age 74, of Russellville, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2016 at Red Bay Hospital.
The visitation will be 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at Spry Memorial Chapel with the funeral following at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Officiating will be Bro. Keith Prince. Burial will be at Belgreen Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by longtime companion, Barbara King; grandson, Rodney Gross; parents, Bryant and Ethel (Welch) Wilson; siblings, J.D. Wilson, Billy Wilson, and Carolyn Sue Hutcheson.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Wanda Carr (husband, Dale), Connie West (husband, Bryon), Dennis Wilson; 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Johnny Wilson; and a host of nieces & nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Red Bay Hospital for the love and care of our dad.
