Walt Parson, age 64, Haleyville, AL. passed away Friday September 11, 2015. Walt was very active with the youth, he coached Little League Baseball, Girls Softball and Youth Football, was a member and Deacon at First Baptist Church in Haleyville.
His visitation will be Monday September 14, 2015 6:00PM – 9:00PM at Pinkard Funeral Home-Haleyville, with his funeral on Tuesday September 15, 2015 at 11:00AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hillcrest City Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Gardner Parson; parents, Billy and Jean Parson; children, Kristi (Steve) Ward and Billy Ray (Amanda) Parson; sister, LaRue (Sonny) Wakefield; grandchildren, Hayden Steve Ward, Emma Hughes Parson and Jon Kent Parson; a host of relatives and friends.
