Calvin Wesley “Wes” Ward, 31 of Joppa, the Hilltop Community died Friday, September 11, 2015 in Marshall Medical Center North, Guntersville.
Mr. Ward was born August 25, 1984 in Marshall County, the son of Kenny and Wanda Gaines Ward. He was a fork lift operator with Sanmina, SCI. He and Keri Ann Thomas have shared their lives together for the past 10 years. He enjoyed Alabama Foot Ball and music and songs by Elvis Presley and Hank Williams, Jr.
He is survived by his wife: Keri Thomas; two sons: Caden and Bentley Ward; his parents: Kenny and Wanda Ward; a brother and sister-in-law: Sam and Christy Ward; a sister and brother-in-law: Karon and Buddy Blakely; his grandmother: Phyllis Hendrix and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 14, 2015 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, Reverend Gary McRae, officiating. Burial will be in Ellenburg Cemetery, Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Benefield, Dewayne Gaines, John Gaines, Josh Gaines, Matt Teal and Jake Warren.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, September 13, 2015 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
