Graveside services for Mr. Walt Hill Jr. age 67 of Buford, Georgia will be held on Saturday October 21, 2023 at 10 A.M. (CST) at Ashland City Cemetery with Bro. Mark Sims officiating.
Mr. Hill passed away at Windy Hill Hospital in Marietta, Georgia on Thursday, October 19, 2023. He was born in Ashland, and graduated from Clay County High School and went on to earn his master’s degree in education. He taught at Ashland Elementary and then worked for Cobb County Board of Education for several years before retirement. He is survived by his sister Faye Jacobs of Wetumpka, two nephews, Scott Jacobs (Amy)of Birmingham and Dru Jacobs (Pamela) of Titus, AL; four great nieces and nephews, Anna Self (Matt), Marley Fritze (Robert), Macey Cordle (Cooper), and Cole Jacobs.
He is preceded in death by his parents W.W. Hill and Muriel Donahoe Hill
