WALKER COUNTY-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident has taken the life of a Walker County man:
“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 12 a.m. Tuesday, May 6, has claimed the life of a Nauvoo man.
Carlton L. Lawson, 57, was fatally injured when the 2011 Toyota Venza he was driving left the roadway and struck a tree. Lawson was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Dogwood Road near Walden Road, approximately two miles north of Carbon Hill, in Walker County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
