Bro. Wafford E. Bailey, 82, Littleville, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015, at Helen Keller Hospital.
He was a native of Haleyville, but lived most of his life in the Littleville area. He was a member of North Highland Baptist Church. He had been in the ministry since his late 20’s. He retired from the ministry in December, 2004.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 28, 2015, from 12 noon until 2 p.m.
at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Phillip Wright officiating. Burial will follow in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include daughter, Jean Ellen Burnett and husband, Steve, Muscle Shoals; sisters, Geneva Hughes, Bloomington, Indiana, Peggy Neal, Russellville.
Pallbearers will be Athel Scott, Billy Burks, Billy Mansell, Teddy Whitlock, Kenneth Copeland and Lloyd Baker.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Bailey; parents, Brantley and Vergie Bailey; son, Tim Bailey.
