W.E. Hankins – Obituary

W.E. Hankins, 89, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, December 3, 2014, from the Meadows in Fulton. He was born August 8, 1925 in Itawamba County to the late Otis M. Hankins and the late Lucille Davidson Hankins. He was a retired farmer that worked and traveled to several states before returning to his hometown of Fulton. He enjoyed having a big vegetable garden and also growing beautiful flowers. He also enjoyed fishing and visiting with his friends and family. He was a member of Red Oak Baptist Church in Marked Tree, AR.

Survivors include his sister and caregiver, Odell (Robert) Press, Nephew, Tony (Mary Jo) Press and their family: Garner, Cody, and Cameron Press of IA, Niece, Penny Press and her family, Joshua (April), Erik (Breanna), and Sarah Dobbs all of Fulton. Great-grand Nieces: Callie Timmons, Kirra Press, and Avalyn Press.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 infant brothers, Brothers: Earnest and Leon Hankins, Grand-Niece, Nicki Press Timmons.
Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday December 5, 2014 at Senter Funeral Home.
