W.B. “Bunt” Wesson. 89, of Muscle Shoals, passed away Friday, July 18, 2014. Visitation will be today from 6-8 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel, with burial to follow at Colbert Memorial Gardens. Brother Jimmy Bradford is officiating.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gertrude Wesson.
Survivors include son, Steve Wesson (Pam);
daughter, Debby King (Jerry);
grandchildren, Lachelle Brown (Johnny), Donya Forgey (Paul), Sabrina Flowers (Bobby), Hope Mangum, Holly Rogers (John), and Stevie Wesson (Michele);
great-grandchildren, Ashle’ Hardy, Bobby Flowers, Sloan Kirby, Jared, Jacob and Jonathan Brown, Brennan King, Hunter Morgan, Paul, Austin, and Breah Forgey, Tyler and Sydney Wesson, and Mick and Jack Mangum;
great-great-grandchildren, Aiden, Cullen, and Owen.
Pallbearers will be Jared Brown, Jacob Brown, Jonathan Brown, Paul Forgey, Austin Forgey, Bobby Flowers, Tyler Wesson, and Mick Mangum. Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Mangum and Devinn Kirby.
Mr. Wesson was a member of the World Wide Church of God and a retiree from Ford Motor Company. After his retirement, he worked eight to ten years at C and R Tool and Engineering.
He was the best husband, daddy, and pawpaw to all his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
