Steven “Steve” Wayne Pinkard, age 52, of Russellville, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2025.
Steve was the founder and owner of Pinkard Construction. He was a master builder who poured his heart and soul into all of his projects, and you can see pieces of his heart all around the Shoals. He was very proud of his construction crew and considered them as family. He loved to fish and being outdoors. He was a wonderful husband and father who loved hard and left many memories.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 33 years April Oliver Pinkard; children, Briana Pinkard, Jessica Pinkard Venturi (Marcus), Zack Pinkard; father, Larry Wayne Pinkard; siblings, Derrick Pinkard (Alisa), Alicia Easter (Brian); stepmother, Peggy Pinkard; in-laws, Beverly Bryan, Wyatt & Kaye Oliver; several nieces & nephews; his lifelong friend, Henry White; and his construction crew.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Ann McNatt Sanders; grandparents, Louella & Eddie Pinkard, Ella Louise & Ralph McNatt; and father-in-law, William “Bill” Bryan.
The visitation will be 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Calvary Baptist Church in Russellville. A celebration of his life will be at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Bro. Wade Wallace officiating the service.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the first responders, Ronnie & Jane Wray, and Calvary Baptist for your kindness and prayers in this our time of need. We also want to say thank you to all of the homeowners and contractors over the years that allowed us to work with them.
