Vonda Eady Shockley, age 63, of Muscle Shoals, AL, died Sunday, September 13, 2015.
Her family will receive friends Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia.
Her funeral service will be Wednesday at 11 a. m. in the funeral home chapel with burial following in Colbert Memorial Gardens. Brett Pittman will officiate.
Vonda was a retired insurance billing clerk with Decatur General Hospital. She was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her father, Herbert E. Eady.
She is survived by her husband; Paul W. Shockley Jr., mother; Vertie Hale Eady, sons; Chris Shockley and Chad Shockley (Heather), brother; Max Eady (Frankie), sister; Belva McGee ( Don) and grandchildren; Sadie Shockley and Sam Shockley, Abigail Garner and Sullivan Garner.
Pallbearers are Nathan Ransom, Brandon Morris, Jimmy Harvell, Joshua Shockley, Michael Childers and Gary Turner.
The Shockley family would like to express special thanks to Dr. Brad McAnalley and Dr. Lynn Ridgeway.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or any local church.
