Volunteers Needed To Keep The Shoals Beautiful

ktsb featuredSHEFFIELD– The City of Sheffield, Keep The Shoals Beautiful and Friends of the Oka Kapassa Walk need your help.

The walk to Tuscumbia Landing  made by Native Americans which will be held during the Oka Kapassa Pow Wow being held this weekend needs the route cleared of litter before the walk.

There will be a litter pick up along Blackwell Road through Park West to tuscumbia landingTuscumbia Landing and the route in Tuscumbia toward Spring Park.   This litter pick up needs volunteers for Friday, September 12, at 9 am.  The good folks who will be conducting this litter pick up will meet at the Little League Park on Blackwell Road.  Supplies will be provided but please remember to bring water!
