Funeral services for Ms. Vivian Pollock, age 90, are scheduled for 11:00am Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at First Pentecostal Church in Lexington with burial to follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery. Ms. Pollock passed away Sunday morning in Lexington. She was a faithful member of First Pentecostal Church for 63 years, retired bank teller and bookkeeper at First Bank and Station 6 Fire department secretary and treasurer for many years. Ms. Pollock was born in Henderson County to the late Nelson and Opal Rainey James. She is preceded in death by husband- Harold Pollock and daughter in law- Ginger Pollock; Survivors include- two sons- Andy Pollock (Regetta) and Marty Pollock, one daughter- Nila Singleton (Alvin), one sister- Berthal Bartholomew Jones, 7 grandchildren- Adam Singleton (Cristy), Kyle Singleton (Kalyn), Drew Pollock (Brittany), Cassie Pollock Reeves (Leeanne), Beth Baker (Brent), Bree Pollock, and Tesla Pollock; 9 great grandchildren- Kassidy Pollock, Lilly Pollock, Oakley Pollock, Bryce Singleton, Ryleigh Singleton, Knox Singleton, Vivian Singleton, Eleanor Singleton and Paisley Taylor, also 2 step grandchildren and 6 step great grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday 12-8pm at Pafford Funeral Home and Wednesday 9am-11am at First Pentecostal Church.
