Vickie Gunter Martin, age 62 of Double Springs, passed away Thursday, May 8, 2025 at her residence. She was born on June 19, 1962 to Bobby and Gladys Gunter. Vickie enjoyed arts and crafts as well as spending time with her grandchildren. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 15, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs where the funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Brother Johnny Gunter officiating. The burial will follow in Pleasant Hill No. 2 Baptist Church Cemetery. Vickie is survived by her sons, Aaron (Kasey) Martin, Joseph (Amber) Martin; grandchildren, Dakota (Kyle) Tucker, Zadi Martin, Faith Martin, Daniel Martin, Bella Martin; brother, Johnny (Shelia) Gunter; sisters, Debra (Frankie) Ward, Susan (Chris) Comeens; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby and Gladys Gunter; nephew, Johnathan Gunter; and niece, Toni Corbin.
