SHEFFIELD – It was a bit rainy. The weather wasn’t cooperating. But the lack of convivial conditions didn’t deter the people who gathered at the Michael Recreation Center to show their gratitude and love for veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces. The room was full.
The event was sponsored by the Long – Hodges – Lowe Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Ladies Auxiliary, Post 8640. The Color Guard was mad up of members of Sheffield High School Junior ROTC.
