Charlie Clark Norment, 77, of Meridianville passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2014. Mr. Norment worked as a Sergeant in the Homicide Investigation Department of the Huntsville Police Department, and retired as the Chief Deputy with the Madison County Sheriffs Department. He is survived by his wife Betty Joyce Norment; two sons, Timothy Norment (Laura) and Mike Norment (Deborah); grandchildren Kristin Winford and Erica Jacobs and great granddaughter Kylie Jacobs. Graveside services will be Friday, November 14, 2014 at 2:00pm at Valhalla Memory Gardens with Reverend Scott Thackerson officiating. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to Clearview Cancer Institute or St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Memphis. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
