Vertis Arlon Driver, 86, of Tuscumbia, AL passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2026. Visitation will be Sunday, April 19, 2026 from 1-2 pm at Colbert Memorial Chapel with a service to follow at 2 pm in the chapel. Jacob Fleming will be officiating. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Driver was a member of Victory Baptist Church. He was a Fraternal Order of Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Avery; sons, Shane and Jason Driver; daughter, Lisa Baker; brother, Charles Driver; sister, Elaine Porter; grandchildren, Sydney Atchley, Erin Powell, Allison Driver, and Felicity Driver; great grandchildren, Teddy Atchley and Ezra Driver.
Pallbearers will be Tony Baker, Ronnie Hollis, Keith Hollis, Steve Hargett, Wayne King, Ricky Driver, Mitchell Driver, and Dennis Sullins.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Victory Baptist Church.
