Our precious mother, Vernice Avalene McGuire Adair, age 85, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Friday, May 02, 2014. She was a native of Lauderdale County, AL, homemaker, and a member of Faith Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clabe and Carlee Matthews McGuire; her husband, Calvin Coolidge Adair, Sr.; one son, Calvin Coolidge Adair, Jr.; two sisters, Hester Ham and Juanita Wisdom; and two brothers, Joyce Mac McGuire and Glindell McGuire.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Sunday, May 04, 2014 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Monday, May 05, 2014, with Jeff Burkhart officiating. Interment will follow at Center Point Methodist Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN. Family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
