Verlon Joe Swim, age 75, of Russellville, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at his home.
Verlon enjoyed fishing when he was younger. He was very kind and humble and loved his family more than anything. He was always in good spirits and had a positive attitude.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 35 plus years, Martha Jean Swims; parents, Joe Cephas and Blanche Swims, brother, Ralph Veron Swims, sister, Geraldine Prince, nephews, Donald Prince and Ricky Prince.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughters, Juanita White, Dana Swims, Loretta Powell, and Mechelle Billington; several grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; siblings, Shirley Prince, Darrell Swims and Irene Leeks. And a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
