Funeral services for Verdie Mittie ‘Tootsie’ Walker, 91 of Cullman will be at 2 p.m., Monday, June 30th, 2014 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, Bro. Brock Johnson and Rev. Larry ‘Bird’ Walker officiating with interment in Cullman City Cemetery.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Walker passed away Friday, June 27th, at Cullman Long Term Care. She was born June 9, 1923 to Otto & Arzilla Smith Handley.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Curmilus Andrew Walker; son, Billy Ray Walker and her brothers and sisters.
Survivors include two sons, Junior (Judy) Walker, Rev. Larry ‘Bird’ (Hilda) Walker; two daughters, Emma Ruth Reid, Charlotte (Kim) Beck; twelve grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be Monday at the funeral home from 1-2 p.m.
