Eldon Dee King, 79, of Tuscumbia died on June 26, 2014. Visitation will be Sunday, June 29, 2014, from 1pm – 3pm. The funeral service will be at 3pm in the chapel with Bro. A. G. Sharp and Bro. Hollis Rutherford officiating. The interment will be at Guy Cemetery.
Mr. King was a member of Little Bear Creek Baptist Church, where he served as a retired deacon, also, he was a retired sales clerk of the Colbert Farmers Co – Op. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Clintell King; brother, Elmer King; sister, Ellen Y. Claunch.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Nina M. King; sons, James A. King (Connie Jo), Roy E. King (Cindy); daughter, Stella Kay Inman (Marty); sister – in – law, Callie King; grandchildren, Michael Inman (Tracie), Jamie King, Jonathan King, Jody King (Elizabeth), Whitney Bennett (James), Jarin Norton; 2 great–grandchildren; 1 great–great–grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Michael Inman, Jamie King, Jonathan King, Jody King, Jarin Norton, James Bennett, Ricky King and Roger Brown.
