Vera Mae Garraway age 73 of Athens, passed away on Monday, October 6, 2014 at Limestone Health and Rehab Center. Mrs. Garraway was born September 8, 1941 in Braymer, MO to Milton Lewis Pollard and Margurite Hill Pollard.
Services for Mrs. Garraway are Saturday, October 11, 2014, at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be October, 11, 2014, from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery with Bert Breland officiating.
She is survived by her daughters, Phyllis Fisher and husband Kyle of Springfield, NE and Martha Younkin and husband Kevin of Athens; son, Samuel Wayne Garraway III and wife Vipa of Tampa, FL; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild; sister, Carol Jean Fraizer of Independence, MO; several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her husband Samuel Wayne Garraway Jr.; parents, Milton and Margurite Pollard.
Pallbearers are Samuel Garraway III, Kevin Younkin, Kyle Fisher and William Bruhnke.
