Velva Dykes, age 90 of Haleyville, Alabama passed away February 12, 2025.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 16, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville, AL. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Kyle Pruitt and Vance Hutton officiating. Burial will follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
Ms. Dykes is survived by her son, Mike Pruitt; grandchildren, Mark Pruitt, Kim Hulsey, Kasey Pruitt and Kyle Pruitt; great grandchildren, LaDecka Pruitt and Alex Hulsey; great great grandchildren, Gabe Pruitt, Adalee Pruitt, Sawyer Hulsey and Ellie Kate Hulsey.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Dalton and Anthia West; husband, Robert Dykes; son, Phillip Pruitt; and grandson, Tim Pruitt.
