Funeral services for Veda Helen Craft, 91, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, April 27, 2016 at Simcoe Community Methodist Church, Rev. Tony Thomas officiating with interment in adjoining cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church from 1-2. Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Craft passed away April 25, 2017 at her residence. She was born April 21, 1926 to Horace Buford and Velma Coggins Sparks. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Evon Craft; brothers, Evaughn (Dutch) and Verbon Sparks; sister, Evelyn Murphree; grandson, Shonn Walker. Survivors include her sons, Jimmy Craft and Johnny Craft; daughters, Janna Walker, Gayla (Keith) Smith, Sheila (Eddie) Woods; grandchildren, Kelly (Alexandria) Baker, Heith (Kelly) Brown, Nick (Kandi) Smith, Wendy (Don) Tysinger, Raina (David) Brown, Allison Craft, Brandy Woods Henderson, Brent (Jennifer) Woods, Danielle (T.J.) Latham, Presley Craft; 15 great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
