Patricia Bledsoe Martin went to be the Lord April 23, 2017. She was born July 27, 1935 and grew up in Boaz, Centre and Huntsville, Alabama. She graduated from Cherokee County High School, but met the love of her life, Ron Martin, while attending Boaz High School as a freshman. They married in November after she graduated. They settled with their three children in Huntsville in 1963. They found First Baptist Church soon after and she was a member for over 50 years. She loved her job at Lee High School where she served as Registrar for over 20 years. Her love of service at her church included library work, WMU, mission trips and Stephen Ministry. Other interests were Huntsville history, WWII history, camping with friends, working jigsaw puzzles, collecting antiques, reading and her 1969 convertible mustang.
Pat was preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, Charles Ronald Martin, her parents, James and Mattye Bledsoe and her oldest brother James Bledsoe.
