Logan Rogers
FLORENCE-This afternoon, Tuesday, May 20 while executing a search warrant, our detectives discovered human remains at a residence in the 2200 block of N. Wood Avenue, the same location where our suspect, Logan Rogers, was taken into custody early this morning. Based on this discovery, his charge has been upgraded to Murder. The remains will be sent to a forensics lab to be analyzed and to confirm the identity.
Logan Rogers is still being held in the Lauderdale County Detention Center. He does not have a bond, pending an Aniah’s Law hearing.
We want to again commend our detectives for their tireless work and dedication throughout this case and the continued support and assistance from the community.
