Unknown Preacher
December 8, 1953 – February 18, 2024

Preacher, 70, died at Tupelo Nursing and Rehab on Sunday, February 18th, 2024. He was born in Sandwich, IL on December 8th, 1953 to Merrill Davis Haas and Ruth Ethel (Griffin) Haas. Preacher graduated Mendota High School and attended a local College for Drafting. He was an Air Force veteran, serving his country honorably for 12 years. Preacher was an avid motorcyclist, and enjoyed life to the fullest while riding with family and friends. Whether, it was riding in the New Year at midnight with his brother Wild Man, or attending annual Sturgis rallies, as well as many other rallies across the country. Preacher was a talented tattoo artist, his craft started with him creating his own tattoos, and expanded to sharing his art with his many friends. He had many other hobbies, most of which revolved around his love of motorcycles. He would hand craft leather pieces for his friends that were either worn, or used to decorate their motorcycles. Preacher was very dedicated to the family oriented motorcycle club he and his family created, along with the many friends that became members thorough out the years. Preacher will be missed by all who knew him.

Preacher is survived by two sons, Adam Haas, Derrick Haas, and one daughter, BobbiSue Haas Duffy; a Brother, Wild Man Haas (Deb) of Dorsey, MS; Sisters, Rita Lindholm of Haysville, Ks., Lucy Haas of Fulton, MS and Sandra Crumpton of Mooreville, MS; his grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and their families. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother Merrill K. Haas of Earlville, IL.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Holland Funeral Directors is honored to be serving their friends.
