FLORENCE– The University of North Alabama in conjunction with the Florence-Lauderdale Public Library will host Futurist and Economist Rebecca Ryan, Tuesday, Feb. 16, beginning at 5:30 p.m. The event will take place at George’s 217 in downtown Sheffield, Alabama.

Ryan, who is known for her forward thinking, is the author of ReGENERATION: A Manifesto of America’s Future Leaders; and Live First, Work Second: Getting Inside the Head of the Next Generation.

The event is designed to help foster learning and growth. Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m.
