Tyrone A. “RoRo” Pointer, Jr., 16, of Triana, AL, died May 18, 2017. He was born on August 2, 2000 in Huntsville, AL. The son of mother Sheri Williams and step-father Jerod Williams; father Tyrone Pointer; and stepmother Brandy Washington.
He attended Madison City Schools since Kindergarten and was currently a student at Bob Jones High School where he played football his freshman year and ran track his sophomore year. He was employed at Jack’s Family Restaurant on Wall-Triana Hwy in Madison, AL.
Tyrone is survived by his parents, Jerod and Sheri Williams of Triana and Tyrone Pointer and Brandy Washington of Madison; sister Nakisha Moss of Triana; younger brothers: Naquandre, Shai, and Castiel, all at home; sisters : Brianna Evans, Tyesha Pointer, Aubrey Pointer, Kelsey McDaniel, and Trinity Pointer; brother Tyler Pointer; stepbrothers and sisters: Zachary, Donovan and Jada Washington, and Jocelyn Williams ; grandparents: Gordon and Geraldine Ziesmer of Mountain Home, AR, Mark Lee of Carbondale, IL, and David and Lucinda Williams of Hazel Green, AL; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins from Alabama and Minnesota.
He was preceded in death by grandparents Michael Adams and Earlene Pointer.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by memorial service at 6:00.
