Two Suspects Arrested And Charge With Attempted Murder In Tuscumbia Drive-By Shooting

TUSCUMBIA-At approximately 12:05PM on April 13, 2022, the Tuscumbia Police Department received a call of shots fired at the intersection of Baker Blvd. and Elm Street at the Baker Blvd. Apartment complex.

Witnesses said two black males in a red or maroon vehicle had driven by and fired multiple shots at them as they stood in the parking lot of the apartments.  One witness positively identified one of the shooters.  An immediate BOLO was

issued to surrounding law enforcement agencies for the car and the identified suspect.

About an hour later the suspect came to the Tuscumbia Police Department to “clear their name”.  Following a through investigation by Sgt. Matt Senkbiel and Investigator Danley Murner, the following two subjects have been arrested:

Xavier Keshun King, age 18, Jackson Avenue, Muscle Shoals

Jaeson Hogans, age 20, County Line Road, Leighton

Both Subjects have been charged with two counts of Attempted Murder and will be transfwrred to the Colbert County Jail.  No bond has beeb set yet.
