HARTSELLE-Two suspects have been arrested on drug charges by the Morgan County sheriff’s Department. Here is what the Morgan County Sheriff’s Department had to say about the arrests:
“On Monday, May 18th, 2015, Hartselle Police were dispatched to a suspicious person under the bridge on Hwy 31 South at Cresent Dr. in Hartselle. Officers arrived on scene and made contact with Jessica Nicole Kashuba, 29, and Adam Seth Armstrong, 34. Officers discovered marijuana on Ms. Kashuba and a small amount of heroin on Mr. Armstrong. Morgan County Drug Task Force Agents arrived and spoke with the subjects. Agents
obtained a search warrant for Armstrong’s vehicle and discovered more marijuana and a handgun along with drug paraphernalia. Ms. Kashuba was arrested for Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd. Her bond is $1000.00. Mr. Armstrong was arrested for Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance-Heroin, and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd. Armstrong’s bond is $2,800.00.
Both subjects were taken to the Morgan County Jail. The subjects told agents that they were under the bridge hunting for artifacts.”
