KNOXVILLE, TN– The Tennessee Valley Authority invites the public to hear an update on its Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) process at two upcoming events.
The IRP is a plan that evaluates options available to TVA to continue serving affordable, reliable, and increasingly cleaner electricity to 10 million residents of the Tennessee Valley region. Public input is vital to the development of the plan.
First, the Regional Energy Resource Council (RERC) will meet in Knoxville on Tuesday, July 16. The council will receive an update on IRP work and provide advice on the development of the plan. The meeting agenda and other information, including a link to register, can be found on the RERC webpage at www.tva.com/rerc

session begins at 1:30 p.m. ET
Where: Virtually or at Marriott Knoxville Downtown, 525 Henley Street
The public is invited to comment online or in person at the listening session by pre-registering by email to bhaliti@tva.gov before 5 p.m. ET on Friday, July 12, 2024. Registration to speak in person at the listening session is also available at the door until 11:30 a.m. ET on Tuesday, July 16.
