FLORENCE-On July 31, 2025, The Florence Police Department opened an investigation in regards to an adult male asking juvenile victims for nude photos through social media.
Nicholas Brown
The male was identified as Nicholas Brown, 18, of Killen, Alabama. Florence Police Department Detectives came in contact with Brown at his residence in Killen, Alabama. Detectives located several images of child pornography on his cell phone. Brown’s phone was seized and processed as evidence.
The case was presented to a Lauderdale County Grand Jury. The Grand Jury decided to indict Brown for 10 counts of Possession of Child Pornography and 10 counts of Electronic Solicitation of a Child.
Brown is currently confined at the Lauderdale County Detention Center. He currently has a $575,000 bond.
