TUSCUMBIA-Due to the severe cold weather that has been predicted for the area with temps falling below freezing in some area coming on the tail end of a strong weather event in the area last night. Many in Tuscumbia and surrounding areas have no electrical power.
The City of Tuscumbia has worked with the City of Muscle Shoals to open a temporary warming station for individuals affected by the severe storms that occurred on Saturday, February 15, 2025. The temporary warming station is located at Muscle Shoals Recreation gym #3, 1000 Gattman Park Drive, Muscle Shoals,
AL. 35661.
The Tuscumbia Multi Purpose center at 601 N commons st E is also open as a temporary warming station. It is located next to Deshler Middle School.
