Tonya Renae Hawkins, 60 of Huntsville, passed away on Thursday, November 3rd, 2022, at Athens Health and Rehab. Miss Hawkins was born on May 28th, 1962, in Cookeville, Tennessee, to Bill Hawkins and Josie Lee Carr.
Miss Hawkins is survived by her sisters Lisa Carr and Holly Copeland; half sister Naomi Hogan; niece CeCe Copeland; niece Gracie Hogan; nephew Trey Hogan and a huge circle of friends in Huntsville, Alabama.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Miss Hawkins attended Ability Plus Workshop in Huntsville, Alabama where she had a large circle of friends. She will be remembered for her sunny disposition and can-do attitude in the face of adversity.
A memorial service to remember Miss Hawkins will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her name to Christmas Charities Year Round in Huntsville or the ARC of Madison County.
