Tony Ray Compton  Tony Ray Compton, born March 30, 1964, passed away on May 20, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

Tony spent his entire life in Marshall County and was well known for his exceptional bodywork and paint skills. He took pride in his work and the relationships he built throughout the years. More than anything, Tony loved his wife, children, and family. When he was not working, he devoted his time to being with those he loved most. In recent years, he especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought him tremendous joy. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Teresa Marie Compton; daughter, Latashia Marie Cox (Eddie Durand Cox); son, Scott Ray Compton; granddaughters, Alexis Nicole Gonzalez (Felipe Gonzalez) and Katie Lashea Cox; grandsons, Robert Lee Adams, Jr., Logan Tray Compton, and Evan Dayton Cox; great-grandsons, Diego Tony Gonzalez and Tyler Felipe Gonzalez; great-granddaughters, Riley Mave Gonzalez and Layla Grace Gonzalez; and brother-in-law, Jessie Paul Stanford.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Kennith Guy Compton and Cora Lee Compton; sister-in-law, Belinda Fay Stanford; and grandson, Easton Durand Cox.

Pallbearers will be Eddie Durand Cox, Jessie Paul Stanford, Logan Compton, Wayne Shelton, Robert Earl Thompson, and Felipe Gonzalez.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 23, 2026, at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m with Bro. Jeff Stanford Officiating. Burial will follow in Nixon Chapel Cemetery.
