Tommy Joe Worsham, age 66, of Tuscumbia, passed away on Friday, Nov. 4, 2016. Visitation will be Tuesday, Nov. 8th from noon until 2 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Billy George and Brother Herbie Rogers officiating. Burial will be at Harris Chapel Cemetery.
Tommy Joe was a retired ironworker with Ironworkers Local #477 and was a member of Hampton Heights Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Blanton Hill Hunting Club, Masonic Washington Lodge #36, Scottish Rite Bodies #32, and Cahaba Shriners. Tommy Joe was an avid Alabama Fan, ROLL TIDE, and a NASCAR fan, Dale Earnhart (Intimidator). LEFT, LEFT, LEFT
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Edmond Worsham; and grandparents, James Claude and Gertrude Worsham and Brose and Frances Nelms.
Tommy Joe is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Jill Worsham; mother, Betty Worsham; son, Shane Worsham (Theresa); daughters, Brandi Worsham, Kelly Grissom (Billy), and Kacey Thompson; brothers, Mike Worsham (Vicky) and Keith Worsham (Maebeth); seven grandchildren, Lane, Natalie, Baylee, Brady, Cody, Sailar, and Brayden; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers include Ronnie, Mike, Bill, and Jeff Hayes, Zack Hamilton, and Kyle Worsham. Honorary pallbearer is J.B. Stuart.
