Tommy James Johnson age 53 of Athens, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Huntsville Hospital. Mr. Johnson was born December 24, 1962 in Ft. worth, TX to Charlie James Johnson and Emma L. Amerson Johnson.
Services will be Monday, June 6, 2016 2:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday, June 5, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery.
Preceded in death by his father, Charlie James Johnson; one brother, Danny Ray Johnson.
Survived by his mother, Emma L. Amerson Tucker; one brother, Ronnie G.Johnson of Athens; two sisters, Linda G. Nix and husband, Jack of Tanner and Barbara A. Russell of Decatur;two sons, Daniel L. Johnson and Jacob James Johnson of Huntsville, AL; several nieces and nephews; one step-son, Adam E. Abner of Birmingham, AL.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth Tucker, Joshua Tucker, Christian Tucker, Henry Williams, Scott Bohanon and Dale Smith.
